Public Transit (Metro and Bus)
Start at the Silver Spring Metro Station (Red Line). From there, take the Metro towards Glenmont. Get off at the next stop, Forest Glen. Upon exiting the station, head to the bus stop and catch the Ride On Bus Route 15 towards Riverdale Park. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the stop for Riverdale Road and 48th Avenue. From there, walk east on Riverdale Road for about 0.5 miles. You will arrive at Riversdale House Museum located at 4811 Riverdale Rd, Riverdale, MD 20737.
Walking
If you are near downtown Silver Spring, you can walk to Riversdale House Museum. Start by heading east on Ellsworth Drive toward Fenton Street. Continue straight until you reach 16th Street. Turn left onto 16th Street and walk north until you reach Riverdale Road. Turn right onto Riverdale Road and continue for about 1 mile. The museum will be on your left at 4811 Riverdale Rd.
