Start at the Silver Spring Metro Station. From there, take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Get off at the next stop, which is Forest Glen. Once you exit the station, head to the bus stop located at the corner of Forest Glen Road and Georgia Avenue. Board the Ride On Bus #21 towards Olney. This bus will take you along Georgia Avenue. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes. After approximately 10 stops, get off at the stop named 'Sandy Spring Museum.' From the bus stop, walk about 5 minutes down Bentley Road, and the museum will be on your right at 17901 Bentley Rd, Sandy Spring, MD 20860.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous and want to bike, start from downtown Silver Spring. Head north on Georgia Avenue (MD-97) for about 5 miles. You'll pass through a residential area. After about 15 minutes of biking, turn left onto Bentley Road. Continue straight for about 1 mile, and you will reach Sandy Spring Museum on your left at 17901 Bentley Rd, Sandy Spring, MD 20860. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all cycling safety rules.
Walking
For those who prefer to walk, start from downtown Silver Spring. Walk north on Georgia Avenue for about 4.5 miles. You will pass various shops and cafes along the way. After about 1 hour of walking, turn left onto Bentley Road. Walk down Bentley Road for about 1 mile. The Sandy Spring Museum will be on your left at 17901 Bentley Rd, Sandy Spring, MD 20860.
