Getting There

Metro
Start by heading to the Silver Spring Metro Station located at 8100 Georgia Ave. Take the Red Line train towards Glenmont. Stay on the train for 9 stops (approximately 20 minutes) until you reach the Gallery Place-Chinatown station. Here, transfer to the Yellow Line towards Greenbelt. Ride for 2 stops until you reach the L'Enfant Plaza station. Exit the station and follow the signs for the Waterfront. From L'Enfant Plaza, it’s a short 10-minute walk to The Wharf. Head south on 7th St SW, continue onto Maine Ave SW, and you will find The Wharf at 760 Maine Ave SW.

From Silver Spring, head to the nearest bus stop for the Metrobus. You can catch the Z2 or Z6 line heading towards the National Mall. Get off at the L'Enfant Plaza stop. From there, it's a short walk to The Wharf. Head south on 7th St SW, continue onto Maine Ave SW, and you will arrive at The Wharf located at 760 Maine Ave SW.

If you’re staying close to downtown Silver Spring, you can enjoy a scenic walk to The Wharf. Start at the Silver Spring Metro Station and walk towards Georgia Avenue. Head south on Georgia Ave until you reach the intersection with Colesville Rd. Continue south until you can turn onto 7th St SW. Follow 7th St SW down to the Waterfront, where you will see The Wharf at 760 Maine Ave SW. This walk is roughly 3 miles and will take about an hour.
