    To reach Waterfront Park at 1A Prince St, Alexandria, VA 22314 from Silver Spring, start by walking to the Silver Spring Metro Station. Board the Red Line train towards Glenmont. After 10 stops, get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown Station. Here, transfer to the Yellow Line train towards Huntington. Ride for 4 stops and get off at the King Street-Old Town Station. Once you exit the station, walk west on King Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the waterfront area, then turn right to Prince Street to find Waterfront Park.

  • Bus

    From Silver Spring, head to the Silver Spring Transit Center, located near the Metro station. Look for the Metrobus routes (such as the F4 or R1) that head towards Alexandria. Board the bus and stay on until you reach the stop at King Street, Old Town Alexandria. From there, walk approximately 0.3 miles along King Street towards the waterfront. Turn right on Prince Street, and Waterfront Park will be on your left.
