Metro
From Silver Spring Metro Station, take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Travel for 6 stops and get off at Gallery Place-Chinatown Metro Station. Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the Yellow/Green Line transfer. Take the Yellow Line towards Virginia and get off at L'Enfant Plaza. Transfer to the Blue, Orange, or Silver Line and go towards McPherson Square. Finally, get off at McPherson Square Metro Station, walk south on 15th Street NW, then turn left on Pennsylvania Avenue NW. The White House Visitor Center will be on your left at 1450 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.

From the Silver Spring Transit Center, take the Metrobus Z2 towards the L'Enfant Plaza. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the stop on 15th Street NW and Pennsylvania Avenue. Walk east on Pennsylvania Avenue NW, and the White House Visitor Center will be on your right at 1450 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.

If you prefer to walk, head south on Georgia Avenue from Silver Spring. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Colesville Road, then take a left on Colesville Road. Follow Colesville Road until it turns into 16th Street NW. Continue walking south on 16th Street NW until you reach the White House. The Visitor Center is located at 1450 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, just a short walk from the White House.
