    From downtown Silver Spring, walk to the Silver Spring Metro Station located at 8400 Colesville Road. Take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Travel for 4 stops and get off at the Gallery Place-Chinatown station. Transfer to the Yellow Line towards Huntington. After 4 stops, get off at the Pentagon station. From there, exit the station and walk towards the Air Force Memorial, which is about a 15-minute walk. Head southwest on Army Navy Dr towards the memorial at 1 Air Force Memorial Dr.

    From downtown Silver Spring, walk to the Silver Spring Transit Center. Board the Ride On Bus # 14 towards the Pentagon. The bus will take you directly to the Pentagon. Once at the Pentagon, exit the bus and walk to the Air Force Memorial, which is approximately a 15-minute walk. Head southwest on Army Navy Dr to reach the memorial at 1 Air Force Memorial Dr.

    If you prefer biking, rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations in Silver Spring. Start from the Silver Spring area and head towards the Capital Crescent Trail. Follow the trail towards the Potomac River. When you reach the river, turn left and continue on the trail until you reach the Arlington Memorial Bridge. Cross the bridge and follow the signs towards the Air Force Memorial, which is about 2 miles from the bridge.
