From the Silver Spring Transit Center, take the Metrobus Z2 towards the Glenmont Metro Station. Ride for about 10 stops and get off at the stop at 17th St & I St NW. Walk east on I Street NW for about 3 minutes, then turn right onto Jackson Place NW. Decatur House will be located at 748 Jackson Pl NW on your left.
Bicycle
If you have a bike, start from downtown Silver Spring and head south on Georgia Avenue. Continue until you reach the intersection with Colesville Road and turn left. Follow Colesville Road until you reach the Capital Crescent Trail. Take the trail towards Washington, D.C. Once you reach the end of the trail, merge onto Water Street NW. Continue for about 1 mile, then turn left onto Jackson Place NW. Decatur House will be on the left at 748 Jackson Pl NW.
Walking
If you're walking from downtown Silver Spring, head south on Georgia Avenue towards Colesville Road. Go right onto Colesville Road and continue until you reach the intersection with I Street NW.
