From Silver Spring Metro Station, take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Travel for 4 stops and get off at the Farragut North Metro Station. Once you exit the station, walk south on 17th Street NW towards the intersection with Pennsylvania Avenue NW. Turn left onto Pennsylvania Avenue NW and walk until you reach 22nd Street NW. Turn right onto 22nd Street NW and continue walking until you reach Embassy Row. This area is known for its beautiful embassies and is located in the heart of Washington, DC.
Bus
From the Silver Spring Downtown Transit Center, take the Metrobus Route S2 towards the Smithsonian. Ride for approximately 25 minutes and get off at the stop at 22nd Street NW and Pennsylvania Avenue NW. From there, walk east on Pennsylvania Avenue NW until you reach the intersection with 22nd Street NW. Turn right onto 22nd Street NW and you will find Embassy Row a short walk ahead.
Walking
If you are near the downtown area of Silver Spring, you can walk to the nearest Metro station, which is the Silver Spring Metro Station. From there, you can take the Metro as described above. Alternatively, if you're up for a longer walk, head south on Georgia Avenue, take a right onto Colesville Road, and follow it until you reach the Washington, DC border. Continue walking until you reach Embassy Row. This option is quite lengthy and may take over an hour, so consider using public transportation.
