Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start by heading towards downtown Baltimore. Use your GPS and set the destination to Pier 5, Baltimore, MD 21202. Once you arrive in the downtown area, look for signs directing you to the Inner Harbor. You will find parking options nearby such as the Harbor Park Garage or Pier 5 Lot. Please note that parking may incur a cost of approximately $10-20, depending on the duration. After parking, walk towards the waterfront area to reach the Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse.

• Public Transportation - Light Rail

  If you prefer public transportation, take the Light RailLink towards the Baltimore Arena or Hunt Valley stations. Disembark at the Baltimore Arena station. From there, walk approximately 0.6 miles towards the Inner Harbor; follow W Baltimore St and then take a left onto S Charles St which leads you directly to the waterfront area near Pier 5. Be sure to check the Maryland Transit Administration website for the latest schedules. The fare for the Light Rail is around $1.80.

• Public Transportation - Bus

  You can also take the MTA Maryland bus service. Routes 1, 3, or 11 will take you close to the Inner Harbor area. Get off at the stop nearest to the harbor and follow signs to Pier 5. The bus fare is approximately $1.80. Make sure to confirm the bus schedules and routes on the MTA website before your trip.

• Walking from Inner Harbor

  If you are already at the Inner Harbor, you can simply walk to the Seven Foot Knoll Lighthouse. It is located at Pier 5. Just follow the waterfront path and look for the lighthouse; it is a prominent landmark and easily visible from the promenade.

• Water Taxi

  For a unique experience, consider taking a water taxi from various points along the Inner Harbor. The water taxi service provides direct access to the lighthouse area. Tickets can be purchased on-site or online, with fares typically ranging from $10 for a single ride to $15 for an all-day pass.
