  • Metro

    From the Bethesda Metro Station, take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Travel for about 10 stops (approximately 30 minutes) and get off at the Metro Center station. At Metro Center, transfer to the Orange or Blue Line towards Largo Town Center or Franconia-Springfield. Travel for 2 stops (about 5 minutes) and get off at the Federal Triangle station. Exit the station and walk east on Pennsylvania Avenue NW for about 5 minutes to reach The White House at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.

  • Bus

    From the Bethesda Transit Center, board the Ride On Bus Route 34 towards Silver Spring Metro. After about 20 minutes, get off at the stop at 14th St & Pennsylvania Ave NW. Once you disembark, walk west on Pennsylvania Avenue NW for about 10 minutes. The White House will be on your left at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW.

  • Walking

    If you're in downtown Bethesda, you can enjoy a scenic walk to The White House. Start on Wisconsin Avenue, heading south. Turn right onto Montgomery Lane and continue until you reach the Capital Crescent Trail. Follow the trail south toward Washington, DC, which will lead you toward the Potomac River. Once you reach the river, follow the path towards the National Mall area. Continue walking towards 15th St NW, then head east to reach the White House at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW. This walk will take about 1 hour and offers beautiful views along the way.
