From the Silver Spring Metro Station, take the Red Line towards Glenmont. Get off at the Wheaton Metro Station. Once you exit the station, head northeast on Georgia Avenue (MD-97) for about 0.5 miles until you reach Veirs Mill Road. Turn left onto Veirs Mill Road and continue for approximately 0.7 miles until you reach Garrett Park Road. Turn right onto Garrett Park Road, and Veirs Mill Local Park will be on your left at 4425 Garrett Park Rd.
