Getting There

Public Bus
From Towson, head to the Towson Town Center bus stop located near the mall entrance. Board the MTA Route 8 bus towards downtown Baltimore. The bus will take you directly to the Baltimore Visitor Center. Make sure to get off at the Light Street stop. The Visitor Center is located at 401 Light St, just a short walk away from the bus stop.

Light Rail
Walk to the Towson Light RailLink station located at 1/2 mile from the center of Towson. Take the Light RailLink heading towards Baltimore. Stay on the train until you reach the Camden Yards station. From Camden Yards, it’s about a 10-minute walk to the Baltimore Visitor Center. Head east on W Camden St, then turn left onto S Light St, and you will find the Visitor Center at 401 Light St.

Walking
If you are in central Towson, you can make your way to the Baltimore Visitor Center by walking. Start by heading south on York Road towards East Joppa Road. Continue walking until you reach the Towson University campus. From there, follow the signs directing you to the nearest bus or light rail station, or continue south until you reach the Baltimore city limits. It will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours to walk the 8 miles to the Visitor Center.
