Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Towson Town Center, exit the mall and head north on York Road. Walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Joppa Road. Cross at the crosswalk and continue straight on York Road for another 0.3 miles.

    After 0.3 miles, look for the entrance to Lake Roland Park on your left. You will see a sign for the park. Enter the park and follow the main path for about 0.2 miles until you reach the Blue Trailhead. The trailhead is located near the water and has signage marking the beginning of the blue trail.

  • Public Transport

    From the Towson Town Center, you can catch the MTA Light RailLink at the Towson station. Take the light rail towards Hunt Valley. Get off at the Lutherville station. From there, walk about 0.7 miles south on Lutherville Avenue until you reach LHirondelle Club Road. Turn left onto LHirondelle Club Road and walk for about 0.2 miles until you see the entrance to Lake Roland Park on your right.

    If you have a bike, you can start at Towson University. Exit the campus and head north on Osler Drive. Turn right onto Towsontown Blvd and continue until you reach York Road.
