Public Bus
Start at Towson Town Center. Head to the bus stop located at 825 Dulaney Valley Rd. Take the MTA Bus Route 8 towards the Preakness. Stay on the bus for approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the intersection of Dulaney Valley Rd and Lochlea Ave. From there, walk west on Lochlea Ave until you reach Tanbark Drive. The Mt. Washington Arboretum is located at the corner of Tanbark Drive and Lochlea Ave.

Light Rail
From Towson, make your way to the nearest Light RailLink station, which is the Towson University stop. Board the Light RailLink towards BWI Airport. After about 20 minutes, get off at the Baltimore Arena station. Transfer to the MTA Bus Route 8 at the bus stop nearby, heading towards the Preakness. Stay on the bus for another 10-15 minutes and disembark at Dulaney Valley Rd and Lochlea Ave. Walk west on Lochlea Ave to reach Tanbark Drive, where the Mt. Washington Arboretum is located.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bike at Towson Town Center. Head south on Dulaney Valley Rd, then take a left onto Lochlea Ave. Continue straight until you get to Tanbark Drive. The Mt.
