Walking
From Towson Town Center, exit the mall and head south on Towson Ave. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Dulaney Valley Rd. Turn left onto Dulaney Valley Rd and follow it as it becomes Charles St. After approximately 2 miles, you will reach the area of Mt. Vernon in Baltimore. The Washington Monument is located at 699 N Charles St, which will be on your right.
Public Transit (Bus)
From Towson Town Center, walk to the nearest bus stop at the Towson Center. Take the MTA Bus Route 8 towards the Baltimore City Center. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes, and get off at the Charles St & North Ave stop. From there, walk south on Charles St for about 5 minutes, and you will arrive at the Washington Monument located at 699 N Charles St.
Public Transit (Light Rail)
Make your way to the Towson Light RailLink station. Board the Light RailLink towards BWI Airport. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Baltimore Arena station. From there, walk north on Howard St, then turn left onto North Ave. Continue straight until you reach Charles St, then turn right. Walk a short distance, and you will find the Washington Monument at 699 N Charles St on your left.
