From Waldorf, head to the nearest bus stop and take the Charles County Transit Bus 1 towards Washington, DC. The bus will take you to the Branch Ave Metro Station. Once at Branch Ave, transfer to the Green Line Metro towards Greenbelt. Ride the Metro until you reach the L'Enfant Plaza Station. Exit the station and follow the signs to the National Mall. Walk towards Constitution Ave NW, and you will reach Constitution Gardens in about a 15-minute walk.
