Once you arrive at the Southern Maryland Transit Center, transfer to the 'Metrobus' service heading to 'L'Enfant Plaza'. The bus will take you to the Metro station. From L'Enfant Plaza, follow the signs to the Smithsonian Arts + Industries Building, which is approximately a 10-minute walk. Head northwest on 7th Street SW, then turn left onto Jefferson Drive SW. The destination will be on your right.

    To reach the Smithsonian Arts + Industries Building via Metro, first find the nearest bus stop that connects with the Charles County Transit system. Take a bus to the nearest Metro station, which is typically the Branch Avenue Metro Station. From there, board the Blue Line train towards Largo Town Center.
