From Gallery Place, you can walk or take a short bus ride to U St NW, which is about a 10-minute walk northeast.

Start from the Rockville Town Square and head south on E Montgomery Ave. Continue straight onto S Washington St, and then turn left onto W Montgomery Ave. Walk along W Montgomery Ave until you reach a bus stop where you can catch the Ride On bus #46 towards Glenmont.
