Car
If you are driving, use a GPS navigation system or a mapping app. From Boston, take I-90 W (Massachusetts Turnpike) for about 20 miles, then take exit 14 for I-495 S towards Cape Cod. Continue on I-495 S for approximately 17 miles, then take exit 18 for MA-140 N toward Franklin. Merge onto MA-140 N, and follow it for about 3 miles. Turn left onto W Central St, and the Franklin Historical Museum will be on your right at 80 W Central St, Franklin, MA 02038. Parking is available on-site.

To reach the Franklin Historical Museum via public transportation, take the MBTA commuter rail from South Station in Boston. Board the Framingham/Worcester Line and get off at the Franklin station. From the station, you can either walk to the museum, which is about a 15-minute walk (0.7 miles) or use a rideshare service or local taxi for convenience. If walking, exit the station and head west on Main St toward W Central St, then turn right on W Central St. The museum will be on your left at 80 W Central St, Franklin, MA 02038.
