If you're driving from central Providence, take I-95 North. Continue on I-95 N for about 15 miles. Merge onto I-295 N towards Worcester. After about 5 miles, take exit 9 for US-6 W toward Woonsocket. Continue on US-6 W for approximately 7 miles. Take the exit for Woonsocket and merge onto RI-104 N/Smithfield Rd. Follow RI-104 N for about 2 miles. Turn left onto Main St, and follow it until you reach the North End Historic District located at Woonsocket, RI 02895. There is free street parking available in the vicinity.
Public Transportation
To reach the North End Historic District via public transport, start by taking the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) bus route 54 from downtown Providence. This bus will take you directly to Woonsocket. The fare is approximately $2.00 for a one-way trip. Once you arrive in Woonsocket, disembark at the Main St & Social St stop. From there, walk north on Main St for about 15 minutes to reach the North End Historic District at Woonsocket, RI 02895. Be sure to check the RIPTA schedule for return trips to ensure you have a plan for your journey back.
