Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the center of Provincetown, MA. Head east on Commercial Street toward Bradford Street. Continue along Commercial Street until you reach the intersection with Howland Street. Turn right onto Howland Street and follow it until it becomes the Long Point Road. This road leads directly to the Long Point Light Station. Note that parking is limited, so plan to arrive early to secure a spot.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Long Point Light Station using public transportation, take the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) bus service from any location in Barnstable County to Provincetown. Once in Provincetown, transfer to the 'Dune Tours' service, which operates during the summer months and offers shuttle rides to Long Point. Be sure to check the schedule in advance as it may vary, and there may be a small fare for the shuttle service.

• Walking

  For those already in Provincetown and looking for an adventure, consider walking to Long Point Light Station. From the center of Provincetown, it is approximately a 2-mile walk along the Long Point Road.   If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Provincetown. Once you have your bike, head east along Commercial Street, then take a right onto Howland Street and continue to Long Point Road.
