Car
If you are driving from Hyannis, take Route 6 East towards Provincetown. Continue on Route 6 for about 40 miles until you reach the Provincetown exit. Follow signs for Commercial Street, which will take you into the heart of Provincetown. Once in town, turn onto Bradford Street and follow it to the end, where it intersects with the Cape Cod National Seashore. From there, continue onto the dirt road that leads to the Wood End Lighthouse. There is limited parking available at the end of the dirt road, so be prepared to walk the final stretch.
Public Transportation
To reach Wood End Lighthouse via public transportation, start at the Barnstable Transportation Center. Take the CapeFlyer train or a bus heading to Provincetown. Once you arrive in Provincetown, head to the Town Hall and catch the shuttle bus towards the Cape Cod National Seashore. The shuttle will take you close to the path leading to the lighthouse. Please check the shuttle schedule in advance, as it may vary seasonally. After getting off the shuttle, walk along the designated trail to reach Wood End Lighthouse.
