Walking
From the center of Barnstable Village, head south on Main Street toward Wianno Avenue. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 149. Turn left onto Route 149 and walk for approximately 1 mile. You will cross the bridge over the Barnstable Harbor. Once you reach the other side, turn right onto North Water Street. Follow North Water Street for about 0.3 miles, and you will see the Edgartown Harbor Lighthouse on your left at 121 N Water St.
Public Transportation
Take the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) bus from Barnstable Village to Edgartown. Look for the 'Route 1 - Barnstable to Martha's Vineyard' bus. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Edgartown, disembark at the Edgartown Town Hall stop. From there, walk north on Main Street for about 0.2 miles until you reach the intersection with North Water Street. Turn left onto North Water Street and walk for about 0.2 miles, and you will find the Edgartown Harbor Lighthouse at 121 N Water St on your right.
