    If you are starting from the Barnstable Village area, head east on Main Street towards the intersection with Route 6A. Continue on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Old Jail Lane. Turn left onto Old Jail Lane and follow it until you reach the end at Route 6A. Cross Route 6A and continue straight onto Sandwich Road. Follow Sandwich Road until it intersects with Water Street. Turn right onto Water Street, and Hoxie House will be located at 18 Water St, Sandwich, MA. The walk is approximately 2.5 miles and should take about 50 minutes.

    From Barnstable Village, you can take the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) bus route 1 towards Sandwich. Board the bus at the Barnstable Village stop.
