Bus
From Barnstable Village, head to the Barnstable Municipal Airport bus stop. Take the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority bus towards Hyannis. Once you arrive in Hyannis, transfer to the bus heading to Oak Bluffs. The bus will take you directly to Oak Bluffs Town Beach. Make sure to check the bus schedule for the latest timings.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, start from Barnstable Village and head south on Main Street. Follow Main Street until you reach Route 28. Turn left onto Route 28 and continue cycling until you reach the intersection with Ocean Avenue. Follow Ocean Avenue, which will take you directly towards Oak Bluffs Town Beach. The ride is approximately 8 miles and takes about 45 minutes.
Walking
If you're feeling adventurous and up for a walk, start from Barnstable Village and head south on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach Route 28. Turn left onto Route 28 and walk towards Hyannis. From there, you can take a ferry from Hyannis to Oak Bluffs. Once you arrive in Oak Bluffs, it's a short walk to the beach. Be prepared for a long walk, approximately 10-12 miles, which could take around 3-4 hours.
