    If you are starting from the center of Barnstable Village, walk south on Main St toward the Barnstable Harbor. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Route 6A. Turn right onto Route 6A and follow the signs for Route 6. After about a 10-minute walk, you will see a bus stop for the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) bus service. Take the Route 7 bus towards Provincetown. The bus will take you directly to Provincetown, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. Once you arrive in Provincetown, disembark at the stop near the town center. From there, walk south along Commercial St for about 0.5 miles, and you will reach the Provincetown Town Hall located at 260 Commercial St.

    Bicycle

    For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local rental shops in Barnstable. Start your ride by heading south on Main St and follow it until you reach Route 6A. Turn right onto Route 6A and cycle for about 2 miles until you reach the junction for Route 6. Continue following Route 6 towards Provincetown. Once you reach Provincetown, follow the signs to downtown. When you arrive, head towards Commercial St and you will find the Provincetown Town Hall at 260 Commercial St. The total cycling distance is approximately 8 miles.
