To reach Barkerville Conservation Area via public transportation, take the Berkshire Regional Transit Authority (BRTA) bus. Board the bus at the downtown Pittsfield bus terminal and take Route 1 towards Lanesborough. Get off at the nearest stop to Barker Road, which is about a 15-minute walk from the conservation area. From there, walk north on Barker Road for about 0.75 miles to reach the entrance. Check the BRTA schedule for current fare and times, as fares typically cost around $1.50 one way.
