Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, the Berkshire Art Museum is located at 159 E Main St, North Adams, MA 01247. From any location in the Berkshires, you can use Route 2 (Mohawk Trail) or Route 8 to reach North Adams. Upon entering the city, follow signs for Main Street. Once on Main Street, look for the museum on your right side. There is street parking available, but be sure to check for any parking meters or restrictions.

  To reach the Berkshire Art Museum via public transportation, you can take the Peter Pan Bus Lines which services the Berkshires. Board the bus at the nearest station to your location heading towards North Adams. Upon arrival at the North Adams bus station, it is about a 15-minute walk to the museum. Exit the station and head south on Main Street until you reach 159 E Main St, where the museum is located. Alternatively, check local taxi services or rideshare options for a more direct route from the bus station to the museum.

  If you're already in downtown North Adams, the Berkshire Art Museum is easily accessible by foot. Start at the North Adams City Hall and walk east on Main Street for approximately 0.5 miles. The museum will be on your left, just past the intersection with Eagle Street. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes, as the area can have uneven sidewalks.
