Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, first navigate to the town of Stockbridge. From the center of Stockbridge, head west on Main Street (Route 102) for about 0.5 miles. Turn right onto West Stockbridge Road (Route 183) and continue for approximately 0.3 miles. The Berkshire Botanical Garden will be on your left at 5 W Stockbridge Rd, Stockbridge, MA 01262. There is ample parking available on-site.

• Public Transportation

  To reach the Berkshire Botanical Garden via public transportation, take a bus to the nearest terminal, which is located in Great Barrington, MA. From there, you can catch a local taxi or rideshare service, such as Uber or Lyft, to take you directly to the garden at 5 W Stockbridge Rd. The taxi ride will take approximately 15 minutes and will cost around $20-$30. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as service may vary.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike in Great Barrington. Head west on Route 23, then south on Route 183 towards Stockbridge. The ride is approximately 6 miles and will take about 30-40 minutes. Be cautious as Route 183 can have traffic. There are bike racks available at the Berkshire Botanical Garden.

• Walking

  If you are staying nearby in Stockbridge, the garden is within walking distance. From the center of Stockbridge, head west on Main Street (Route 102). After about 0.5 miles, turn right onto West Stockbridge Road (Route 183) and walk for another 0.3 miles. The garden will be on your left. The walk will take approximately 15-20 minutes.
