Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving, start by getting onto Route 7 from wherever you are in the Berkshires. Follow Route 7 south until you reach the junction with Route 20. Turn left onto Route 20 and continue for about 2 miles. Then, turn right onto Main Rd. After approximately 4 miles, you will find the Titus Mansion Ruins at 264 Main Rd, Tyringham, MA 01264. There is no parking fee, and you can park along the road near the entrance.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, you can take the Berkshire Regional Transit Authority (BRTA) bus that runs through the Berkshires. Look for the bus route that heads towards Tyringham. Get off at the nearest stop to Main Rd. From there, it is about a 1.5-mile walk to the Titus Mansion Ruins. Be sure to check the BRTA schedule in advance for the latest routes and times to ensure you have a return option planned. Note that walking paths may be unpaved, so wear comfortable shoes.

• Biking

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to bike, you can rent a bicycle from a local shop in the Berkshires. Use Route 7 and then Route 20 as your main biking route, making sure to follow traffic rules. The journey will require a good level of fitness, so be prepared for a moderate workout. Remember to wear a helmet and have a bike lock. Once you arrive at 264 Main Rd, you can secure your bike on the nearby trees or posts while you explore the ruins.
