Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from Boston Common, walk towards Park Street Station. From there, take the Green Line 'C' or 'D' train towards Government Center. Exit at Government Center Station. Once you are outside, head west on Congress Street, then turn right onto State Street. Continue until you reach the intersection with Marshall Street. The Boston Stone is located at Marshall Street, where you will find it embedded in the sidewalk.

• Public Transit

  From South Station, take the Red Line towards Alewife. Get off at Park Street Station. Transfer to the Green Line and take the 'C' or 'D' train towards Government Center. Exit at Government Center and walk west on Congress Street, turning right onto State Street. Proceed until you reach Marshall Street, where The Boston Stone is embedded in the sidewalk.

  If you are near Faneuil Hall, exit the hall and head northwest on Congress Street. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with State Street. Turn left onto State Street and continue until you reach Marshall Street. The Boston Stone will be on your right, embedded in the sidewalk.

  From the Back Bay area, walk to the Back Bay Station and take the Orange Line towards North Station. Get off at Haymarket Station. From there, walk east on Blackstone Street until you reach the intersection with State Street. Turn left onto State Street and continue until you reach Marshall Street. The Boston Stone is located at this intersection.
