    From downtown New Bedford, walk to the nearest bus stop on Purchase Street. Take the GATRA bus number 10 towards Fall River. Ride for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Fall River Terminal. From there, transfer to the Rhode Island Public Transit Authority (RIPTA) Route 60 bus heading towards Newport. The journey will take about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at the Newport Gateway Center, walk towards the waterfront and head southeast on America's Cup Avenue. Continue on this road until you reach Ocean Avenue. Turn right onto Ocean Avenue and walk for about 0.5 miles until you see Castle Hill Lighthouse at 800-870 Ocean Ave.
