If you're driving from Gloucester, MA, take Route 128 North. After approximately 25 miles, merge onto I-95 North towards Portsmouth, NH. Continue on I-95 North for about 15 miles. Take exit 7 for US-1 Bypass toward Portsmouth. Follow the signs for US-1 Bypass and merge onto it. Continue on the bypass for about 2 miles, then take the exit toward Downtown Portsmouth. Follow the signs to Market Square, which is in the heart of downtown. Look for parking options in the area as Market Square can get busy.

To reach Market Square via public transportation, take the MBTA bus from Gloucester to the nearest station, which is the Alewife Station. From there, transfer to the C&J Bus Lines that head to Portsmouth, NH. The bus will drop you off at the C&J Bus Terminal in Portsmouth. From the terminal, you can walk to Market Square, which is about a 10-minute walk. Head east on Ceres Street, then take a left onto Market Street, and you will find yourself in Market Square.
