Car
From Cape Ann, start by heading southwest on MA-128 S. Continue on MA-128 S for approximately 25 miles. Merge onto I-93 S toward Boston. Continue on I-93 S for about 3 miles. Take exit 23 toward Purchase St. and keep left at the fork, following signs for South Station. Merge onto Purchase St. and go straight. After a few blocks, turn right onto Summer St. and continue until you reach Post Office Square, which will be on your right. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
From Cape Ann, head to the nearest MBTA train station. Board the commuter rail heading toward Boston (typically the Rockport Line). The journey will take about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at North Station, follow the signs to the Haymarket subway station. Take the Green Line (C or E) towards Park Street. At Park Street, transfer to the Red Line towards Ashmont/Braintree. Get off at Downtown Crossing. From the station, it's a 5-minute walk to Post Office Square. Exit the station and head east on Washington St. until you reach Post Office Square.
