Car
If you are currently in downtown Nantucket, head west on Main Street towards Washington Street. Continue straight for about 1 mile until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Madaket Road and continue for approximately 3 miles. Turn left onto Pensylvania Avenue, and you will find Madaket Beach on your right. There is parking available near the beach.
Public Transportation
From the Nantucket Town Center, you can catch the NRTA (Nantucket Regional Transit Authority) bus heading towards Madaket. Board the bus at the designated bus stop on Main Street near the Whaling Museum. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes, and get off at the Madaket Beach stop. From there, it's a short walk to the beach entrance along Pensylvania Avenue.
