Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Cape Cod. Take Route 6 East towards Brewster. Continue on Route 6 for approximately 20 miles until you reach Exit 11 for Route 137. Turn left onto Route 137, and then immediately turn right onto Route 6A (also known as Old King's Highway). Follow Route 6A for about 3 miles, and then you will see signs for Wing Island. The entrance is located along the road, and there is parking available nearby. Note: Some areas may have parking fees, so be prepared with cash or a card.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) bus service. You can catch the bus from various locations on Cape Cod. Look for the 'Route 2' bus, which travels along Route 6. Disembark at the stop nearest to Route 137. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile north on Route 137, then turn right onto Route 6A and walk another half mile to reach Wing Island. Be sure to check the CCRTA schedule for bus times, as service may be limited, especially on weekends.
Bicycle
For those who enjoy biking, you can ride along the scenic paths near Brewster. Start from the Cape Cod Rail Trail, which runs parallel to Route 6. Head east towards Brewster, and then follow the signs to Route 6A. The ride will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on your pace. Be cautious as you transition onto Route 6A, where you may encounter vehicle traffic. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow all safety rules.
