Walking
If you are in downtown Gloucester, start at the Gloucester Fishermen's Memorial located at 75 Essex Ave. Head south on Essex Ave towards the harbor. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn left onto Washington Street and walk straight until you reach the bus stop for the MBTA bus service. Take the bus number 67 towards Beverly Depot. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the Government Center station in Boston. From there, walk to 100 Hanover St, which is just a 5-minute walk away. You will see the Boston Public Market at your destination.

Public Transport
From the Gloucester Train Station, take the MBTA commuter rail on the Rockport Line towards North Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at North Station, transfer to the Green Line subway (C or E line), and ride to Government Center. Exit the subway and walk for about 5 minutes to 100 Hanover St. The Boston Public Market will be on your left.

If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from a local rental shop in Gloucester. Start your ride heading south on Main Street, then take a right onto Route 127. Continue on Route 127 until you reach the intersection with Route 128. Follow the signs for Route 128 South towards Boston. This route can be busy, so be cautious. After biking for about 1 hour (approximately 12 miles), you will reach the outskirts of Boston. Find a bike lane or a safe route to Government Center. Once you reach Government Center, park your bike and walk to 100 Hanover St.
