Walking
From downtown Gloucester, head east on Main Street towards the harbor. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn left onto Washington Street and follow it as it curves slightly to the right. As you walk, you will pass several shops and restaurants. Continue on Washington Street until you reach the intersection with Western Avenue. Turn right onto Western Avenue. After a few blocks, you will come to the Gloucester Harbor. Follow the harborfront path that leads you south. This will eventually lead you to the train station. From there, board the MBTA commuter rail train towards Boston. Once you arrive at the Back Bay station in Boston, exit the station and walk towards Boylston Street. Copley Square Park will be on your left, at 560 Boylston Street.

From Gloucester, walk to the nearest bus stop for the Cape Ann Transportation Authority (CATA) bus service. Take the bus to the nearest train station, which is the Gloucester MBTA station. From there, board the MBTA commuter rail train towards Boston. The train ride will take around 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Back Bay Station in Boston, exit the station and walk towards Boylston Street. Copley Square Park is located at 560 Boylston Street, just a short walk from the station.
