Getting There

    From the Gloucester Fishermen's Memorial, head south on Rogers Street towards the intersection with Western Avenue. Continue straight onto Western Avenue until you reach the pedestrian crosswalk at the intersection with East Main Street. Cross over to East Main Street and walk east until you reach the Gloucester Harbor. Follow the waterfront path along the harbor to the Gloucester Maritime Heritage Center. From there, you can catch the MBTA train at the nearby train station. Take the train towards Boston, and get off at the Salem station. Once you arrive in Salem, exit the station and walk straight on Washington Street, which will lead you to Derby Square in about 10 minutes.

    Start at the Gloucester MBTA station, located at 1 Railroad Avenue. Purchase a ticket for the train heading towards Boston. Once on the train, stay on for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Salem station. After disembarking, take a left on Washington Street and walk straight for about 0.5 miles. Derby Square will be on your right, and you will see it clearly marked as you approach.

    If you have a bike, start at the Cape Ann Museum located at 27 Pleasant Street. Head east on Pleasant Street until you reach the intersection with East Main Street. Turn left onto East Main Street and continue until you reach the Gloucester Harbor. Follow the harbor path, which will lead you to the MBTA train station. From there, take the train towards Boston, and get off at the Salem station. Once you've exited the station, you can bike along Washington Street for about 10 minutes to reach Derby Square.
