If you are in downtown Gloucester, head south on Main Street towards the intersection with Washington Street. Continue straight on Main Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Gloucester Harbor. At the harbor, look for the MBTA bus stop. Take the MBTA Route 67 bus towards 'Gloucester' and get off at the 'Gloucester Crossing' stop. From there, transfer to the MBTA bus Route 450 towards 'Boston'. This bus will take you directly to Boston. Once you arrive in Boston, get off at the 'Science Park / Museum of Science' stop. The Museum of Science will be just a short walk from the bus stop.

From Gloucester, make your way to the Gloucester Train Station located at 2 Railway Ave. Purchase a ticket for the MBTA commuter rail to North Station in Boston. The train ride will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at North Station, exit the station and follow the signs to the 'Science Park' exit. After exiting, walk towards the Charles River, and you will see the Museum of Science directly ahead.
