  • Walking

    If you are in downtown Gloucester, head east on Main Street toward the waterfront. Continue until you reach the intersection with Washington Street. Turn right onto Washington Street and follow it until you reach the end, where it intersects with Harbor Loop. Continue on Harbor Loop as it curves around. You will eventually see signs for Salem. Follow the pedestrian paths along the coast until you reach the ferry terminal. Take the ferry to Salem, which will bring you close to Pickering Wharf Marina. Once you arrive at Salem, exit the ferry and walk west on Derby Street until you reach Congress Street. Turn left on Congress Street, and you will find Pickering Wharf Marina at 23 Congress St.

    From downtown Gloucester, make your way to the Gloucester MBTA station located at 1 Railroad Avenue. Catch the MBTA commuter rail train on the Rockport Line heading to North Station in Boston. After about 25 minutes, disembark at the North Station stop. From there, transfer to the Orange Line subway, heading towards Oak Grove. Get off at Haymarket Station and walk to the Haymarket bus terminal. Catch the 450 bus heading to Salem. After approximately 30 minutes, disembark at the Salem Depot. From the depot, walk west on Washington Street until you reach Congress Street, then turn right, and Pickering Wharf Marina will be on your left at 23 Congress St.
