If you are in downtown Gloucester, head east on Main Street towards the waterfront. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Rogers Street. Turn left onto Rogers Street and follow it until you reach the Gloucester Harbor. From there, you can walk along the waterfront, enjoying the scenery. After approximately 0.5 miles, you will arrive at the Gloucester Ferry Terminal, where you can catch a ferry to Salem. Be sure to check the ferry schedule as it may vary.

From downtown Gloucester, walk to the Gloucester MBTA bus terminal located at 1 Main Street. There, you can catch the 441 bus towards Salem. Make sure to check the bus schedule for departure times. After about a 30-minute ride, disembark at the Salem Common, which is a short walk from the Salem Ferry terminal located at 10 Blaney St. Follow the signs to the ferry terminal.
