Burial Hill: A Historic Journey Through Time in Plymouth

Getting There

• Bus

  From Hyannis, walk to the Hyannis Transportation Center located at 215 Iyannough Rd, Hyannis, MA 02601. Catch the Plymouth & Brockton bus heading to Plymouth. The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive in Plymouth, get off at the last stop which is near the downtown area. From there, it is a short walk to Burial Hill. Head north on Main Street, then turn right onto School Street. Burial Hill will be on your left.

• Bicycle

  If you're up for a bike ride, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Hyannis. Start your journey heading northwest on Main Street. Follow Main Street which will eventually turn into Route 3A. Continue on Route 3A for about 12 miles. When you reach Plymouth, make a left onto School Street. Burial Hill will be on your right side, just a short distance down the road.

  You can use a taxi or ride-sharing service like Uber or Lyft. Simply open your app and input 'Burial Hill, School St, Plymouth, MA 02360' as your destination. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes depending on traffic. Confirm with the driver to ensure they know the exact location of Burial Hill.

  If you're feeling adventurous and want to experience the local scenery, you could walk to Burial Hill, although it’s quite a distance (approximately 12 miles). Begin at Main Street in Hyannis, heading north until you reach Route 3A. Follow Route 3A through the scenic areas until you reach Plymouth. Once in Plymouth, turn onto School Street, and Burial Hill will be on your left.
