Getting There

Bus
From downtown Hyannis, walk to the Hyannis Transportation Center located at 215 Iyannough Rd. Catch the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority bus heading towards Provincetown. Make sure to check the schedule ahead of time, as buses may run less frequently on weekends. Stay on the bus for about 30-40 minutes until you reach the North Truro stop. From the bus stop, walk approximately 0.5 miles northeast along Highland Light Road. The Highland Lighthouse will be on your right.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Hyannis. Start your journey by heading north on Main Street until you reach Route 28. Turn right on Route 28 and follow it until you reach the intersection with Highland Light Road. Turn left onto Highland Light Road and continue straight for about 3 miles. The lighthouse will be on your left. Be aware of traffic and wear a helmet for safety.

If you prefer walking, start from the Hyannis Main Street area. Head north on Main Street until you reach the intersection with Route 28. Cross Route 28 and continue onto Highland Light Road. This is a longer walk of approximately 4 miles, so be prepared with comfortable shoes. Walk straight along Highland Light Road for about 1.5 hours, and you will see the Highland Lighthouse ahead.
