Walking
If you're starting from the Hyannis Main Street area, head east on Main Street towards the harbor. Continue straight until you reach Ocean Street. Turn left onto Ocean Street and walk until you reach the ferry terminal. From there, take the ferry to Provincetown. The ferry ride takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Provincetown ferry terminal, exit the terminal and walk north on Commercial Street for about 0.5 miles. The Provincetown Public Library will be on your left at 356 Commercial St.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from Hyannis to the ferry terminal located at 220 Ocean Street. Once you arrive at the terminal, secure your bike and take the ferry to Provincetown. After arriving at the Provincetown ferry terminal, head north on Commercial Street for approximately 0.5 miles. The Provincetown Public Library will be located on your left at 356 Commercial St.
Public Transit
From Hyannis, take the Cape Cod Regional Transit Authority (CCRTA) bus service from the Hyannis Transportation Center. You will need to ride the bus that goes to the ferry terminal at Ocean Street. Once you arrive at the ferry terminal, board the ferry to Provincetown, which lasts about 1 hour. After disembarking at the Provincetown ferry terminal, walk north along Commercial Street for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Provincetown Public Library at 356 Commercial St.
