Ferry
To get to Founder's Cemetery located at 202 Cliff Rd, Nantucket, MA from Hyannis, start by heading to the Hyannis Ferry Terminal. You can walk to the terminal from anywhere in Hyannis; it's centrally located. Once at the terminal, purchase a ferry ticket to Nantucket. The ferry ride will take approximately 1 hour. Upon arriving at Nantucket, exit the ferry and head towards Straight Wharf. From there, you can take a local taxi or rideshare service, or you can walk to the cemetery. It’s about a 15-minute walk. Head northeast on Straight Wharf, then turn right onto Easton Street, continue straight until you reach Cliff Road, then turn left. Founder's Cemetery will be on your right.
Bicycle
If you prefer to bike, after taking the ferry to Nantucket, you can rent a bicycle at the Nantucket bike shop near the ferry terminal. Once you have your bike, head northeast on Straight Wharf, then turn right onto Easton Street. Continue straight until you reach Cliff Road, then turn left. Founder's Cemetery will be on your right. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes.
Walking
If you arrive on Nantucket and prefer to walk, after disembarking the ferry, you can walk directly to Founder's Cemetery. Start at Straight Wharf and head northeast along the waterfront. Turn right onto Easton Street and follow it until you reach Cliff Road. Turn left onto Cliff Road, and Founder's Cemetery will be on your right. The walk takes about 30 minutes and offers lovely views along the way.
