    Walking

    From the downtown area of Lowell, head to the nearest bus stop and take the MBTA bus route 67 towards Alewife Station. Ride until you reach Alewife Station. Once there, transfer to the Alewife subway station on the Red Line. Take the subway train in the direction of Ashmont/Braintree. Disembark at the Central Square station in Cambridge. Upon exiting the station, walk towards the Central Square area, where you will find various shops and restaurants.

    Start at the Lowell Connector and walk to the nearest bus stop. Board the LRTA bus route 1 towards the Gallagher Terminal. At Gallagher Terminal, transfer to the MBTA Commuter Rail towards North Station. Upon arrival at North Station, follow the signs to the Haymarket Subway Station. Take the Green Line towards Government Center and switch to the Red Line at Park Street Station, heading towards Alewife. Get off at Central Square Station in Cambridge, then walk to Central Square.
