From your location in Lowell, walk to the nearest bus stop that services the MBTA. You can take the 350 or 67 bus towards Alewife Station. After about 30 minutes, get off at the Alewife Station. Transfer to the Red Line subway towards Ashmont/Braintree. Stay on the train for approximately 25 minutes, and get off at South Station. From South Station, exit onto Atlantic Avenue and walk for about 5 minutes to reach Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park at 100 Atlantic Ave.

Head to the Lowell Train Station and catch a train on the MBTA's Lowell Line towards Boston. The journey takes about 35 minutes. Disembark at North Station. From North Station, you can walk to the Haymarket area and catch the Orange Line subway towards Forest Hills. Get off at Haymarket and transfer to the Green Line towards Government Center. Get off at Park Street station, then walk about 10 minutes down Tremont Street to reach Atlantic Avenue, where you'll find Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park.
