    From the center of Lowell, head towards the Lowell Transportation Center located at 100 Thorndike Street. Once there, take the MBTA commuter rail from the Lowell station to the North Station in Boston. Upon arrival at North Station, exit the station and walk towards Causeway Street. Follow Causeway Street until you reach the Haymarket Station. From Haymarket, take the Green Line subway towards Park Street. Alight at the Park Street station and transfer to the Red Line towards Ashmont/Braintree. Get off at the Downtown Crossing station. Exit the station and walk south on Washington Street for about 5 minutes. The Citizens Opera House will be on your left at 539 Washington St.
