If you're starting from downtown Lowell, head to the nearest bus stop on Merrimack Street and catch the MBTA Lowell Line train towards Boston. After about a 30-minute ride, disembark at the West Medford Station. From there, transfer to the Alewife-bound Alewife subway line at Alewife Station. Ride the subway for about 25 minutes until you reach Kenmore Station. Exit the station and walk toward Commonwealth Avenue. The Commonwealth Avenue Mall is located at 484 Commonwealth Ave, just a short 5-minute walk from Kenmore Station.
Bus

From downtown Lowell, walk to the nearest bus stop on Merrimack Street and take the Lowell Regional Transit Authority (LRTA) bus route 1 towards the Lowell Connector. Ride for about 15 minutes and transfer to the MBTA bus route 67 at the Alewife bus terminal. Continue on the bus for approximately 45 minutes until you reach the Commonwealth Avenue stop. The Commonwealth Avenue Mall at 484 Commonwealth Ave will be just a short walk from the bus stop.

Start from downtown Lowell and head to the Lowell train station. Purchase a ticket for the MBTA Lowell Line towards Boston and board the train. This journey should take around 30 minutes. Alight at the North Station in Boston. From North Station, walk to the Haymarket subway station (about a 10-minute walk). Take the Green Line train towards Braintree and get off at Kenmore Station.
